According to a recent report from Sky sources, Manchester United have begun talks with Marcus Rashford regarding an extension of his current contract. The 21 year old has enjoyed quite the rise up through the ranks of English football, with many considering him to be United’s best striker. His current deal is set to expire in 2020, with the expectation being that the Red Devils would invoke a clause to extend that for another twelve months. Now, though, it seems like they want something that’ll last a little bit longer, and it’s not hard to see why.
The Englishman made his professional debut back in 2015, and since then he’s developed into a fan favourite at the club. Now, fans are excited to see what he can produce if he’s given the time to consistently appear in the first team under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
United will return to action this weekend against Fulham.
